The Institute of Odia Studies and Research(IOSR), Bhubaneswar is a non-profit Research Based voluntary organization that is devoted to the cause of Odia language, literature and culture as well as training and research in Odia in order to develop it into a language of knowledge and development. It has played a key role in getting the Odia as a Classical Language recognized by the Central Government in 2014. It has entered into a MoU with the Govt. of Odisha for ensuring extensive usage of Odia language in Government and with Utkal University for Computational Linguistics. IOSR prepared a handbook titled, “Sarakāri Bhasā Sahachara” with CMGI for Governance in Odia language. It has been imparting regular trainings through Odia medium to candidates aspiring for getting into various All-India and State administrative positions, Medical, Engineers and other compitative exam. It has organized Six National Language Conferences and 12 Seminars during 2014–20. Now its prepared an English-Odia Dictionary and other Subject wise Dictionaries for Odia Students and Common man. It also published 8 No's of Research Books and half yearly Research Journal "BHASA" from 2018.

Sri Krushna Chandra Gajapati (SKCG) Autonomous College in Paralakhemundi, Odisha, is a premier and historical institution of higher education that accommodates more than 5,000 students every year across its 16 undergraduate and 13 postgraduate departments. .

• Establishment & Heritage: Founded in 1896 under the patronage of the Raja of Paralakhemundi, Shri Shri Goura Chandra Gajapati Narayana Deo, it is recognized as the second-oldest college in Odisha.
• Naming & Relocation: It was renamed in honor of its major patron and foster father, Maharaja Sri Krushna Chandra Gajapati Narayana Deo, after the Government of Odisha took over its management in July 1947. It moved to its current campus at the Morrison Extension in 1948.
• University Affiliations & Status: Over its history, the college has held affiliations with Madras University, Andhra University, Utkal University (as one of its first five founding affiliated colleges in 1943), and Berhampur University (since 1967). It was designated as a Lead College in 1990 and achieved Autonomous Status in 2002.
